Rubilax aint dead yet, and it would be the easier server overall to play on, but if you can tolerate attempting to work with 5 other people with split second decisions feel free to mono; its pretty packed.

rogue in pvm is either bow rogue for bowling bashing things at range or melee auto steal.

Bowling bash bow rogue is actually a pretty good mobber and lots of servers add some kind of quality of life to get the skill on demand.

Auto steal in melee is a solo farming thing that works best on low density mobs with good drops that also have enough hp to survive until it triggers. There is very few things that fit this criteria in the game however and this conflicts with another aspect of farming in that if you can kill two or more things before rogue can auto steal and kill one thing that is just superior all the time.

Rogue has a huge list of things it can do in pvp and really just depends if there is an npc that can give you the skill you want to preserve in town or not.

Anyone play osu (normal mode)? I played after the first time in a few years and was thinking maybe some anons from here would like to play a little. I'm just talking about the main point and click mode not the other modes. I'd like to host a room if anyone is interested. Any difficulty is fine, my upper limit looks to be about 5.5 but I'll happily play much lower, it's just a good way to share songs with other anons and just listen to nice things, which is the main reason I like it anyway. I used to play in frid/a/y threads years ago but it's been a while, if anyone is interested in a room around 1700-2100 UTC then reply and we can set one up!

Let's talk about that last one and other EQ servers because it's the most retarded point and quickly becoming the only one. The alternatives:

TLPs - Khrono with a population that dies annually run by a company that will stop running eq and maybe shutter the IP if it doesn't prove popular enough (with an aging population/market that's shrinking, not growing)
Other emu servers with populations less than a house party
Other EMUs with populations less than a house party.
TAKP if you want to box with the dozen other people who want that but not live cancer
That closed source server in some New Jersey basement kept afloat by benefactors that might as well vanish tomorrow, giving money to 'devs' (cause the tranny wrote a lot of the code, lol) that can't even be bothered to say 'dude trust us', with players that epitomize unhealthy played time*

It really isn't a game for anti-socials or zoomers. You have to put yourself out there socially, be willing to travel and find open groups, and accept that you aren't always going to get a group every time you look (especially if you are a ranger or wizard).
On the discord there is a guild channel with lots of guilds recruiting, just tell any of them you are interested and I'm sure they'd bring you in. However just being in a guild doesn't guarantee a group, especially as most players are waiting for Kunark at this point.
Regardless, make sure you put /lfg on and travel between Mistmoore, Unrest, and Upper Guk (the best spot IMO). There are other decent spots around that level (Paw, Solusek A, Permafrost) but they are gonna be much less populated. Put in /ooc that you are lfg with your class name.

I'm >>1268164. I can't speak for anyone else. I go with Thunderspy because that's my home server. I didn't intend to imply anything else. I don't have anything to say about rebirth, so I didn't mention them. Aside from having it's own 3d modeler, rebirth was getting a good deal of it's hard technical dev help from Thunderspy. Rebirth has frequent random issues, but I don't have a real opinion on them. HC is a blackbox when it comes to their devwork. Meanwhile their community is the worst kind of stepford smiler friendly. Meanwhile on Thunderspy you can ping the head dev and call him a shitter or ask about something technical without someone getting butthurt about it. At worst you're asked not to talk politics, spam nigger or complain about trannies out of nowhere, because nobody wants to deal with it anymore. It's not adding anything to the game and just scaring off casuals who just want to play the game and forget about their day..

So Leo decides he's going to run an invite-only server and deny it's existence to the uninvited. (Lying was integral right from the start!) And he goes about colluding with or corrupting well known community figures and folks in charge of CoH social media groups. Has anyone tried this? It's at mostly positive on Steam and looks interesting but I don't want to spend $40 if it's actually shit.

MMOs are dead because there is no reason to talk to anyone. Need a group? Use the dungeon/raid/group finder. Need to sell something? Use the server wide auction house/market board/grand exchange. Need help with a quest? Of course you don't, the game tells and shows you exactly where to go, who to talk to and what to pick up. Need to go somewhere, but the mobs on the way are dangerous? Just fly over them or open your map to teleport to the other side of the world. MMOs have added so many conveniences over the years, that interacting with actual players have become completely optional at best and inconvenient at worst. This is the future MMO gamers wanted.
